What purpose could God have for healing someone? What purpose could God have for partially healing someone?
\n \nA purpose for healing can be as simple as showing His power to just one person. Then sometimes it can even be more than that. More than just showing Gods power and more than a testamony. It can be a trial of faith. One that forces even the best of us to take a step back. \n \nWhy me? I don't deserve to be healed. What do You want in return God? This can't be completely free. \n \nI can't begin to understand why God healed my vision a year ago. More than that, I don't know why He allowed my eye sight to go bad now. Perhaps He healed my eyes from some severe problem that would have escalated. Or perhaps I had 1 year of perfect sight to minister with. \n \nI believe that the fact my vision has suddenly gone downhill is because God wishes to use that as a lesson to the world. The question has come up to me, if you've seen God heal and have been healed then why doesnt He heal me or my family? \n \nBefore my vision was restored, I was adamant that Godly healing wasn't about the healing itself. It was about the faith one needed to heal or be healed. It was about God moving in our lives and about us taking the time to see it. \n \nWhen my mentor told me God was going to heal my eyes, I took his faith as my own and swore never to touch a pair of glasses again. And a week later my eyes were healed to perfect 20 20 vision. Since then I've lived in luxurious bliss thinking that was the end of the story. I have proof, not that I personally need it, I've passed my drivers license vision test. \n \nBut my story is not over. I need glasses. Praise God it is as simple as that. My vision has degraded within one week. The headaches are unbearable. Without glasses, my pain will only intensify. \n \nSo I'm here to tell you that Biblical healing is real. And there is are reasons for everything. Healing or no, full or partial, God uses His power to show us how much He truly loves us. If only we would open our eyes. Perhaps we all should grab a pair of glasses, maybe they would help us see God's work a little clearer.

AuthorI am a missionary. Currently studying at Bethany Global University. The ultimate God dream is to go to Mongolia. I believe God has called me to minister to the Mongolian nomads, they are the unreached people of our world. With over 3 million people in Mongolia, there are only around 70 churches. These churches are all in cities, thus leaving the nomads on their own. I am a missionary, this is my calling, and this is my story. Please Contact me to find out how to donate.Archives
